Luke has decided that when he moves to cars, he hopes to be changing back to his original helmet colours of red, white and blue to celebrate his British heritage. Luke said: “It was about time I returned to red, white and blue, not enough drivers celebrate where they are from any more. Britain has a fantastic motor racing heritage and has produced the finest competitors. I will retain some features from my Intrepid themed design but I intend to improve upon it substantially. I shall also change airbrush artists and have already got a few new artists in mind. I have seen their work first hand and it is fantastic. It embodies the same spirit of excellence that I hope to achieve.” This is a turn around in opinion as most drivers now represent team colours or have something of no relevance to their nationality. There will also be a new design feature incorporated into the helmet to represent his favourite sports team.
