The Future

Luke aspires to be a competitive racing driver, and is eager to succeed. All amateur racing drivers have at some point thought about making a career out of what started as a hobby. However, it takes a determined and driven individual to achieve this; and lets not forget that the individual needs to be incredibly talented to start with.

Luke has previously acknowledged the hard road that lies ahead of him in his journey towards becoming a motor racing star, and is keen to prove that he is capable. "Motorsport is one of the most ruthless and competitive sports around. I am aware that it will be tough to succeed but if I were to give up now, I would prove that I was never capable. The first step to fulfilling my goal is to compete, from there, I must push myself to the limit as I strive to earn the recognition that I feel I am due".

There is no shortage of world class motor racing talent in the UK, and many of them are immensely talented drivers. Luke feels he is about to join them. There has never been any hint of Luke buying into success, but instead, he pushes to achieve as much as possible within the confines of his budget. 2009 should see Luke make the switch into cars, and to assist his progression, Luke will join the RDA. "The Race Drivers Academy is a means by which I can improve my chances of success, Seb (King) was a racing driver and he is providing all of us with the tools to improve ourselves physically, mentally and competitively. When you combine this with the reputation and facilities that are provided for our use at Loughborough College, the course looks to be a fantastic opportunity for all elite drivers". Surely with such a dedicated and positive outlook, Luke must go someway to realising his potential and his dream.
